Last night’s scheduled updates went through in a swift, neat fashion as intended. Many updates were made to the PropTrackr software including, but not limited to:

• Upgrades to the Repair Estimator
• New Graphs added to the Dashboard
• More detailed information portrayed by e-mail notifications
• Property Search enabled to search by Assigned Users
• Many minor cosmetic changes that you may notice as you log in & explore the system.

The first update you may notice is that the dashboard has a bit more flare with new graphs for the Task Manager and Property Follow-up widgets. Being able to monitor office tasks and property notes at a mere glance is intended to assist in the management aspects of your Real Estate Business.

The Repair Estimator has been updated to allow for custom repair fields to be created, enabling one to manually enter any and all repairs to be included in a Repair Proposal.

Also included in last night’s release was the expansion of e-mail notifications sent via PropTrackr:

• Whenever a document is uploaded to your PropTrackr account, you are now notified by email. Included in this email is the property address and the document uploaded.
• Notification e-mails may now be sent upon editing a pre-existing property notes.
• Every notification (whether it is for uploaded documents, new/updated notes, added properties, etc) will now have the property’s address included within the e-mail.

These notifications were updated to save you time by eliminating the need to identify what property/document the e-mail was in reference to.

In order for your account to display the updates as intended, please delete the cookies and cache (temporary Internet files) from your web browser. This article provides step by step instructions for clearing the cache in most common browsers.

Another successful update last night. The PropTrackr development team has been hard at work solving issues and updating the system. Last they released another set of updates to the system. Here is a list of just a few of the updates & bug fixes that were released in last night’s update.

There is a new property search filter giving our clients the ability to now search by specific fields like address, city, state, zip code and contact name.

Also included in last night’s update is a new comparable search function. You can now see an estimated price of a real estate property from Zillow and Eppraisal with the PropTrackr estimate showing up giving our clients more options to choose from.

Taking suggestions from our clients, have proven to be a huge advantage in developing our software. This next update came from one of our clients, when adding a property note to the system you can now view who received the note under the “Notified” section of property notes.

Being able to easy and efficiently track client data is huge for running a real estate business and that is why we added the feature to track customer submitted properties. When a client logs into your PropTrackr account and submits a property for sale to your real estate company, their contact name is now listed as the source. Giving you the ability to sort and organize your data by customers who submitted data.

PropTrackr Real Estate Management Software finally released the affiliate marketing program to the public. After two months of private beta testing PropTrackr has released the affiliate program to all of our clients. Along with the new filtering system the Contact Rolodex has a new look and functionality. The new look allows our customers to see a list of contacts on the left and the contacts details on the right. With the new functionality of the contact we have listened to your suggestions and you can now add your custom contact type. Simply navigate to the admin configuration section and there will be a new tab for contact types. Organize and sort your contact list the way you want!

With last night’s release quite a few system fixes went out with the release. Mostly cosmetic changes to the admin system, consistency with the graphics, updates to reducing graphic file sizes and more. But the largest most noticeable update is the NEW Property Document Section. The new document section has been redesign from the ground up, easier organization allows locating and attaching documents to properties simpler and faster. The new organization tree of the property document center allows you to add new documents quickly to any specific real estate property, create new faxes for that real estate property, organize all the documents into packages for easy emailing or faxing and best of all, create HUD-1’s directly from this new section. Once created the HUD-1 is attached to the property details for easy location.

With all of the updates that were released last night you should see how these additions to the PropTrackr Real Estate Management Software can be useful to your real estate business. Optimizing the system along with decreasing file size should improve overall speed of the system, improving your daily productivity by increasing how much you can get done within a day. To give you an idea of what this new update will do and how you can get it to work for your real estate company, we will explain a little bit here and at our support center.

Here at PropTrackr we designed the Affiliate Program to help expand our network of real estate professionals while giving back to our current clients. The PropTrackr affiliate program is so simple to use it almost makes money on auto pilot. By simply signing up for the PropTrackr software you gain access to the affiliate program and immediately start earning a 25% commission on every new paying client you get to sign up to the PropTrackr real estate management software.

How does the Affiliate Program work?

When you signup for a PropTrackr account or if you already have a PropTrackr account you are automatically eligible to participate in the affiliate marketing program. Once you have created a campaign you will place a tiny snippet of code on any website, within that tiny piece of code PropTrackr has generated a unique ID specific to your campaign. Once you have placed the banner advertisement you are on your way to making some extra money. The PropTrackr Affiliate program will track clicks, free trial sign ups and paid accounts that are driven by your affiliate program banner.

How much can I earn?

The PropTrackr affiliate program allows you to collect 25% of every paying customer you sign up. So if you signup 2 client who pay their first month, you will receive 25% of each monthly cost. The more you get to signup the more you can make.

How do I get paid?

PropTrackr will send you a check once you have accumulated $250 dollars worth of monthly clients.

Can I roll that money directly into my PropTrackr account?

Unfortunately no, not at this time.

How do I setup a campaign?

The PropTrackr affiliate program is simple to use and understand. You can set up a new campaign with just a few clicks of your mouse. The way it works is you decide on where you would like to place the affiliate banner or text, on your own website, a website like Activerain or RealTown, blog comments, just about anywhere. Once you have decided that you simply login to your PropTrackr account, navigate to the affiliate section and create a new campaign. Title the campaign anything you would like and your done, your first PropTrackr affiliate campaign is running and you are ready to start earning extra income.

Alright I have a campaign, Now what?

Simply click the view details by right clicking on the campaign and PropTrackr has provided you with the auto generated snippet of code for you to place where you would like. Choose from five preloaded banners, ranging in size from 728x90px to 250x300px all the way up to sky scraper banners at 160x600px.

Where can I place these banners?

Any website you would like. There is no restriction on where these can go.

How many campaigns can I have running?

Unlimited, we suggest that you a few campaigns running with detailed titles so you can track them easily and you can place them anyplace you would like. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Activerain, RealTown, Your Blog or anyplace you would like.

Do I have to use the PropTrackr banners?

No you do NOT have to use the banner we give you. If you can create your own banners or text banners you can use any banner you would like. The only thing you can NOT change is the unique URL identifier.

Can I use a text link instead of a banner?

Yes you can, by simply changing the HTML code you can add your own banner or text.

Our new cloud system consists of failover servers and load balancers that should make it so that if one server ever goes down, you won’t even notice it and can continue working while we resolve the issue with the down server. Your ability to close real estate files as quickly as possible the whole reason we created PropTrackr, so rest assured we have learned from our mistakes of the past and moving forward with our networking reliability at the forefront of everything we do.

Over the next few weeks you should start to see a lot of new improvements with the system. We’ve done a complete analysis of the existing applications that make up PropTrackr and working diligently to increase the speed of the system and also it’s ease of use. After all, the easier and faster the system is for you to use, the more you’ll get done in a day.

We have also been working hard on our support website adding new a FAQ section, creating how to videos, creating new help topics and more, you should stop by and check it out.

With the launch of the new website we have also launched the Action Plan Module. Action Plans were designed and developed to save you and your company a lot of time with daily tasks like sending emails to new clients, updating everyone involved with a project and more.

To give you a little preview of how powerful this tool is, lets walk through a possible scenario:

You have a potential home buyer who has contacted your office looking to purchase a home. Taking the contact information and plugging it into your PropTrackr account and assigning it to the “New Client Action Plan” allows you or the system to automatically contact them via email on a predetermined number of days. This isn’t just any email, this email is a “Thank You for your interest and we are working hard to find the best home for you and your family. Please visit www.PropMapr.com to start shopping for the perfect home.”

You have made your first contact with a potential client all without typing a word. PropTrackr’s Action Plan Module has done this for you. Now we get to see the power of this module in action, within the New Client Action Plan there are more “actions” to be completed. Four days after the first initial contact, the system sends another follow up email asking if there are any questions that they might have. All the while you haven’t had to do anything to keep in contact with the new client.

Action Plans are fully customizable to fit your needs, the above situation is just one example of how the system can help automate some of your offices daily tasks. Another Action Plan that can be useful is when a property closes mass emailing everyone involved letting them know that everything has been completed.

We’re pleased to announce our new buyers website, PropMapr.com!  This site was created for one thing — to bring you new buyer leads for all of your properties listed for sale in PropTrackr.

It’s very important for you to spend some time going through all of your properties and making sure as much information as possible is filled out.  If a property is listed for sale, visit the Details tab of a property and fill out the information on that page.  Uploading pictures of your home is also important.  Your clients can do this on the client side of your website as well if you need some help.  This information will be displayed on PropMapr.com so you want your properties to be as informative and professional looking as possible.

In the Property Details section we also added a new Leads tab that will display all interested buyers for your properties.  Take a moment to check out that section.

To get your properties listed on PropMapr.com just set your properties Listing Status to For Sale. Once we see it marked For Sale we’ll automatically list it for you.

As part of this latest update we also updated the client side of your website so that intested buyers can search your database of homes for sale.

You can now add an embedded property search into your PropTrackr website.  View the Property Details section and click the Links/HTML button next to the Listing Status field.  Go to the Pages section of your Administration and the create a new page on your site.  Paste the code provided to you into the Source of the new page and Publish it.  You should now have a page on your website that displays your properties.
